Sainsbury Logans & Williams
Celebrating heritage and place
Sainsbury Logan & Williams (SLW), one of Hawke’s Bay’s oldest and most established law firms, has entered a new era with the relocation of its Napier office to Valour House at 180 Dalton Street. Founded in 1875, SLW’s move consolidates the firm onto a single floor, supporting its operations and ongoing commitment to clients.
The new workplace draws inspiration from Napier’s celebrated Art Deco architecture. Mid-century furnishings and carefully selected fixtures reflect the city’s unique heritage, while an open-plan layout enables collaboration and adaptability. The result is a workspace that thoughtfully balances modern work practices with a respectful nod to the firm’s longstanding history in the region.
The design approach extends to SLW’s Hastings office, where STACK remodelled the front of house with refined finishes and a similarly Art Deco-inspired aesthetic. Across both locations, the cohesive design language strengthens SLW’s brand identity and delivers a welcoming, professional environment for staff and visitors alike.
