STACK Interiors has recently worked with Carey Baptist College on the design and delivery of its new education hub and workplace at Greenlane in Auckland.
Carey Baptist College is one of Aotearoa’s leading theological colleges, a place where people come together to learn, share and grow in faith and leadership. Their new premises brings together the College, Baptist Union National Support Centre, Northern Baptist Association and Arotahi, creating a modern, flexible environment that supports collaboration across all entities.
The new fitout has been designed to foster community and connection by balancing spaces for study, reflection and social interaction. A central hub for students and staff includes areas for learning and worship, supported by modern technology for hybrid teaching and flexible, multi‑purpose rooms. The design also incorporates Māori cultural elements, including carved pou within the fitout and a stained‑glass inspired treatment between the chapel and library.
With a focus on people, collaboration and belonging, the project reflects Carey’s vision to create an inviting, contemporary campus where faith and education meet.
