A modern working environment for a global firm

As New Zealand’s only manufacturer of methanol, Methanex is committed to the principles and ethics of Responsible Care and it was this, alongside their other values of trust, integrity and professionalism that they were determined to evoke in the design of their new Auckland offices at 125 Queen St.

STACK were engaged early on in the process to design and deliver a new Auckland HQ for Methanex that was able to accommodate the NZ executive team as well as frequent overseas visitors. Throughout the space we aimed to provide a contemporary working environment coupled with offices for their team in addition to more social breakout areas, including a communal kitchen with beautiful views. Full AV capabilities throughout all meeting rooms and the boardroom were installed to ensure international connectivity for this global firm.

The Methanex global brand weaves well throughout the 395sqm floorspace and complements the stunning vista of the Auckland CBD skyline and Waitemata harbour. Beautiful feature lighting and attention to detail contribute to a calm and sophisticated space. The result is a modern-day workplace for an exciting international organisation, that values its commitment and contribution to the growth of New Zealand.
