Although we work for clients across New Zealand, we’re opening a full-time Tauranga / Bay of Plenty STACK operation, our first office outside Auckland.

As client demand for our services grows, we’re expanding our reach. We’ve chosen Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty because there’s something very special happening in this part of New Zealand, with an increased migration of families, businesses and knowledge workers to the area.

Tauranga was recently named as New Zealand’s top performing city for economic growth and we feel that the time is right to put down some very strong roots and continue to deliver workplace design brilliance to our clients throughout the Bay of Plenty and Waikato regions. It’s a significant step as we celebrate our 20th anniversary year. Heading up our new office is Annmaree Kane – an original STACK team member who has just moved back to New Zealand.

Meet Annmaree

Regional Manager/Designer. Diploma in Design - Unitec.

Annmaree was a member of the original STACK team. Recently returned after nine years living and working in Australia, she now heads our new office in Tauranga and will oversee our projects in the Bay of Plenty and the Waikato area.

Annmaree was involved with many of our original clients including HSBC, Toyota, Mighty River Power and Nokia. Notable projects in Australia included the redevelopment of the Royal Mail Hotel in Dunkeld, Victoria, working with high profile chef Dan Hunter and a clinic for plastic surgeons Australian Skin Face and Body, as well as numerous commercial office spaces across Regional Victoria and South Australia.

Having been a designer for over 20 years she fully understands the design and construction of commercial interiors. A recent stint in commercial construction management has allowed her to become more involved in the Project Management of her projects. Annmaree is very focussed on forging strong relationships with clients and contractors to ensure the successful outcome of all her projects.

Look out for Annmaree around Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty – she’ll be zipping around in a STACK-branded car. If you’ve got any projects you’d like to realise, contact her at, she’d love to help.
