AA Insurance

AA Insurance has a highly engaged workforce, recognised by AAI being named as one of New Zealand’s best companies to work for, for 10 years running. When they turned to STACK to design their new 4,800m² HQ at 46 Sale St, Auckland, our challenge was to ensure we retained and reinforced the essence of who they are and how they work throughout their new space.

Our aim was to design a space that supported AAI’s genuine values. The reception has been designed as a warm, welcoming space, yet still conveys the company’s professionalism. The work environment now responds to their need for better multi-functional meeting spaces, both enclosed and open, including places for custom ‘huddles’ for full teams to get together for quick catch-ups.

With electric sit-stand desks as standard throughout, as well as destination spots including the café, games room and chill-out area, the space supports AAI’s drive to boost the health and wellbeing of their staff.

Our newly designed HQ has been judged a huge success by AAI staff, with one commenting that “we have gone from a Corolla to a Lamborghini!”.
