ETSL were seeking to move their offices, update their systems and also rebrand . They were keen to not only create a fun and efficient work space for their staff, but also make definite connection with the new brand and its high tech security statement. Several buildings were reviewed prior to the ASB Building being selected.
The office created is modern and high tech in its feel, from the lift lobby through to the client spaces. Brick work panelling is used to describe the 'solidity' of the organisation and brand. Clean, crisp colours are used to enhance the 'hightech' feeling. These strong elements are softened by the use of blonde timbers and planting as features. Careful integration of services adds to the slick look presented to the public.
Behind the scenes, the technology is highly detailed and planned to the last data outlet. The furniture system is flexible and functional and the staff all enjoy the city views from uninterrupted open plan spaces. Common spaces such as storage and meeting rooms are restricted to the central core area. A staff cafe facility has become a favourite gathering and meeting space for informal meetings.
