Bridgestone were looking for a fresh new environment for their Auckland team of around 100 people. The new workplace was created from an extensive refurbishment of existing offices in the 602 Great South Road complex.
Bridgestone wanted their workplace to reflect the dynamic nature of their brand both locally and globally. The new workplace needed to be more than just “a place to work”. It needed to respond to the varied needs and working styles of the Bridgestone teams, providing flexible and diverse working spaces.
The new layout emphasises sight lines across open space to help connect and unite the various teams. The look and feel is consistent across the various departments, giving an overall continuity while being sympathetic to the Bridgestone brand. An emphasis on common and breakout spaces throughout the interior, help to bring together people who might not normally cross paths in an average working day.
